“The Amazing Race”: Will Darren McMullen and Nephew, Tristan Cross the Finish Line?

Darren McMullen is adding ‘”The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition” contestant’ to his long list of features and accomplishments. He’s joining forces with his nephew, Tristan Dougan to tackle tough challenges, good wine and apparently, some pasta, according to a press statement from Network 10.

While we’re not sure where they’ll find pasta on the streets of Borneo, Malaysia, India and Cambodia, the pair are up against 10 other teams for a shot at $100,000. If they manage to take out the win, the money will be donated to a charity for bereaved youth, Feel the Magic.

Will this adventure bring Darren and Tristan closer? Here’s the rundown on the uncle-nephew duo taking on The “Amazing Race” 2023.

“The Amazing Race Australia” 2023: Darren McMullen Joins Forces With His Nephew Tristan

From hosting “The Voice Australia“ franchise during its early days to being a contestant on the 2019 season of “The Masked Singer”, Darren McMullen has found a home on local screens. Outside of it all, he loves to write about wine, taste delicious food and travel.

He plans to focus on his hobbies throughout the new “Amazing Race” season, leaving the bulk of the grunt work to his nephew and teammate, Tristan Dougan.

“I’ll just be here for the brains,” Darren said.

Based on the snippets we’ve seen of the pair in action, we can expect some tension and maybe a few laughs from this dynamic duo.

Can Darren and Tristan make it to the finale? We’ll have to wait and see…
