Anna Nicole Smith was a one-of-a-kind beauty — but her 14-year-old daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead is making the case for a two-of-a-kind beauty. This gorgeous girl is really resembling her beautiful mum — and we’ve got the pics to prove it!
Not only does she have her mum’s eyes, brilliant blonde hair and megawatt smile, it seems she’s inherited her fashion sense too. Pictured with her dad, Larry Birkhead, for Kentucky Derby weekend, Dannielynn looks all grown up in a turquoise suit, paired with embellished white flats and a striking white flowered fascinator.
The Derby has been an annual tradition for the father-daughter duo since 2008; it’s also the place where Anna Nicole Smith and Larry met.
Dannielynn has previously sported frilled and tulle dresses to the event, so this is the first time she’s stepped out in something so grown up at the Derby. Or like her father said in the Instagram caption: “I guess that means no more ‘little girl’ dresses??”
And, it seems like Dannielynn might have a future as a fashion critic too! According to her dad, his cheeky daughter critiqued his outfit whilst cleaning out “the chocolate brownies, ice cream and machos” — a girl after our own heart!
The late Anna Nicole Smith died five months after giving birth to Dannielynn, and close friends of the Playboy model have told her daughter that she looks just like Anna. Larry has also spoken about how his daughter “has a big heart like her mum had.”
Much like her mum, she’s dabbled in modelling, becoming the face of Guess Kids in 2012. The creative director of Guess at the time said “Dannielynn has the same playful spirit that her mother had on a set.”
