1. Britney Spears in Hot Water

The superstar has been in the news quite a bit as of late, but this time, it was for the wrong reasons.

Britney is currently under investigation after it was alleged she struck an employee this week.

The incident allegedly occurred at the singer’s California home.

After returning home from the vet, Britney’s employee says her phone was smacked out of her hand during a confrontation.

Britney’s lawyer has dismissed the claims, saying it’s “sensational tabloid fodder.”

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is currently handling the investigation, and any results they find will determine whether she will be charged with misdemeanour battery.

The pair’s relationship first came onto the radar in March, after a fan reportedly spotted them holding hands in the UK. The rumours were confirmed a few weeks later by Us Weekly.
