Can Cassie Sainsbury Win SAS Australia?
Channel 7

My pals, “SAS Australia” is returning to our screens once again. Yup, Australia’s brutal reality series is back with a new group of star-studded recruits, all ready to take on some incredibly tough challenges. One of these “SAS Australia” contestants is Cassie Sainsbury.

Now, before appearing on “SAS Australia”, Cassie Sainsbury had a controversial past. How controversial? Let’s dive into the details.

Who Is Cassie Sainsbury?

Cassie Sainsbury is an Aussie woman who was convicted of drug smuggling in Colombia during 2017. Later that same year, she was sentenced to six years in prison and scored the nickname Cocaine Cassie. She was released early in 2020, and since then, she has been on a journey to become a social media influencer.

In March of 2023, Sainsbury claimed that she had no friends.

“Friends, I don’t really have any, there’s family in bits and pieces,” Sainsbury said in an interview with the “Herald Sun”. “What got to me was I had friends writing letters supporting me and then on social media writing crap about me. It is what it is.”

So, will Sainsbury find the friendships she’s craving in a military-based reality series? Only Channel 7 knows.

Is Cassie Sainsbury Married?

In 2022, Cassie Sainsbury married her fiancée, Tatiana. Her love is a computer technician. The pair met in a Colombian nightclub in 2021.

“She told me that it was my past and that she couldn’t judge me on my past because everybody has a past,” Sainsbury said, when discussing this relationship.

As it stands, we don’t know if Cassie Sainsbury’s relationship will be mentioned on “SAS Australia”.

The new season of “SAS Australia” premieres in October on Channel 7 and 7plus. You can stream previous seasons online at 7Plus.
