It’s been a stressful week on The Block as the contestants raced against the clock to complete their backyards on time. Of course, in true Block fashion a few tense moments occurred throughout the seven days but in the end, what matters most is winning the challenge.

Ronnie and Georgia

Spending $76,033, Ronnie and Georgia went with a light and bright aesthetic, impressing the judges. Shaynna was obsessed with the brick and texture on the wall behind the pool and overall the space was sophisticated and beautiful. The couple also included a great play area for the kids. A stellar effort from the two.

Mitch and Mark

Spending $46,435, Mitch and Mark’s backyard was a huge hit with the judges. The Margaret River trees were stunning and the poolside cabana with a functioning BBQ kitchen was the perfect addition. One of Mitch and Mark’s best efforts since being on the show.

Tanya and Vito

Unfortunately for Tanya and Vito, the judges didn’t love their backyard and pool area. Spending $45,005, the couple’s yard wasn’t styled appropriately and the layout was all wrong. They also didn’t include a kids play area.

Josh and Luke

Josh and Luke haven’t had a very successful run as of late but after spending $53,538, the brothers managed to redeem themselves. The backyard was sophisticated and the pool area was perfect. The huge fire-it and kids play area was very well thought out.

Kirsty and Jesse

Spending the most amount of money out of all of the Blockheads, Kirsty and Jesse’s backyard had the judges shellshocked. Everything was perfect, the woodfire pizza oven, the garden, the size of the dining table, there wasn’t a single thing out of place. They also added a chicken coop which was completely unique.

In the end, Kirsty and Jesse took home the win once again. It’s been a great few weeks for the couple who have managed to come out on top consistently.
