Mirage follows the cunning street thief Basim Ibn Is’haq as he trains to become an assassin with the Hidden Ones, and promises a back to basics approach for the series. The gameplay is a lot like the first few Assassin’s Creed games, with a dense city to explore and a focus on parkour and stealth, but with all the advancements and improvements of the later games. The result is a narrative-driven, action-adventure experience with an intriguing coming-of-age storyline and charismatic protagonists populating a majestic, open city in Baghdad.

The Collector’s Edition comes with in-game cosmetics, an art book, a map of Baghdad, the game soundtrack and a replica of Basim’s brooch — and a high-quality, 32cm-tall statue of Basim perched on an archway, ready to strike his target from above.
