How To Find Your Aura Colour
Although with practice and focus, you can read your own aura, it’s probably best to leave it to the professionals. According to energy healer and spiritual expert, Dilosh of Girl And Her Moon, the simplest way to find your aura colour is to visit an aura photographer or consult an expert, such as a shaman or energy healer. “You can also take a test to find your aura colour based on your personality traits, preferences, and habits,” she added.
While Dilosh says that everyone is born with a specific frequency of colour, your aura itself is fluid. “An individual can have more than one colour in their aura, and these colours can change with time depending on the level of awareness,” says Dilosh.

Red Aura Color Meaning
According to Dilosh, a red aura is associated with passion, sexual desires, and libido. “A red aura is connected to the root chakra so it means you a grounded and balanced with a zest for life,” Dilosh explains. However, the darker this colour is, the more likely it means that you’re feeling anger, frustration, or low energy.

Blue Aura Color Meaning
Dilosh explains that blue is the colour of communication and is related to the throat chakra. “A blue aura reveals someone who is calm and has the ability to express their truth,” Dilosh says. “The lighter the blue the more peaceful and positive the energy is.”

Orange Aura Color Meaning
Orange is related to creativity, fertility, and emotions, which can be positive or negative. “Orange is the colour of the sacral chakra, which is where one will hold their negative or positive emotions that are influenced by the relationships they have with others,” Dilosh explains. The sacral chakra is related to sexuality and creativity, so this colour rules passion.

Yellow Aura Color Meaning
A yellow aura is related to the mental body, so it deals with your intellect and self-esteem. “A yellow aura signifies the inner happiness and balance that one has within,” Dilosh explains. “Yellow can also indicate a playful spirit, high self-esteem, a spiritual awakening, high intellect, or a desire for greatness.”

Green Aura Color Meaning
Orbiting around the heart chakra is the colouhjr green. Dilosh explains when green is present, it’s associated with having a compassionate and loving heart. “This loving kindness can be towards animals, plants, friends, family, and life in general,” says Dilosh.

Indigo Aura Color Meaning
An indigo aura colour indicates a deep connection with one’s higher self, and is associated with intuition or inner knowing. “Indigo is the color of the third eye chakra,” Dilosh explains. “It indicates that the individual is on a spiritual quest for truths of the unknown, and can also sense other people’s energies.”

Violet Aura Color Meaning
If you have a purple or violet aura, you are intuitive, feel oneness, and can see the bigger picture. “People with this aura have a direct connection to the universe, and the ability to channel or receive revelations,” Dilosh explains. “They love to guide others to their highest potential.” If your aura radiates a violet aura, it means you’re attached to the spiritual world.

Gold Aura Color Meaning
Those with a gold aura are spiritually aligned. This aura colour is related to the soul star chakra, which according to Dilosh, signifies spiritual enlightenment and wisdom. “It is often found in those who are spiritually attuned or possess leadership qualities,” Dilosh says.

Silver Aura Color Meaning
Connected to the spirit chakra, a silver aura colour illustrates abundance and wisdom. “In the physical and spiritual sense, a silver aura means being [filled with] cosmic intellect and psychic ability,” Dilosh says.

White Aura Color Meaning
Dilosh says a white aura colour is associated with the divine, signifying a full ascension of your being. “Someone with a white aura is fully connected to the cosmos,” Dilosh says. “It is associated with the divine gateway chakra. Individuals with a white aura experience complete oneness with everyone and everything.”
