tbh Skincare Brings You the Latest Addition to Your Acne Treatment Arsenal: Pimple Stickers

Acne is an annoying reality for pretty much everyone at one stage or another, so it’s always helpful to have an arsenal of acne-fighting products at your disposal. Enter: tbh Skincare. This Australian brand creates scientifically backed formulas that kill acne-causing bacteria.

While you’re probably familiar with its cult Acne Hack Cream ($55), there is a new product you can add to your breakout-fighting arsenal. Say hello to Patch It Up — tbh Skincare’s new pimple patches that are designed to draw out impurities, reduce inflammation and keep you from picking at the spot.

There are two options when it comes to the pimple patches — the first is the Patch It Up Everyday Patches ($20 for 76 patches). These hydrocolloid babies are designed for day wear and are formulated with tea tree to reduce redness and swelling and niacinamide to soothe damaged and inflamed skin.

The addition of salicylic acid helps with congestion, while ascorbic acid corrects pigmentation left behind by the spot. Pop a patch on after you’ve cleansed your face and leave it for a minimum of six hours. After you remove the patch, you’ll be greeted with a flatter and less inflamed pimple.

The second stickers are the Patch It Up Glow in the Dark ($20 for 40 patches). These heart-shaped cuties are designed to wear while you sleep and they spend the whole night extracting impurities (it literally works to absorb pus and oil from the breakout) and allows the wound to heal properly. Simply pop on after cleansing at night and remove in the morning.

Both patches come in two sizes, with the larger size suitable for the treatment of cystic acne or seriously inflamed pimples, which we all encounter every now and then.

If you’re someone who tends to pick at your pimples, acne patches are a game-changer. These little stickers work to absorb all of the gunk from your spot, while also healing the skin around it and acting as a barrier between you and the pimple. That’s the dream when it comes to acne treatments!
