In the realm of reality dating shows, Farmer Wants a Wife has long been hailed as the pinnacle of romance, weaving love stories that captivate audiences season after season. With a track record that boasts nine weddings, five enduring relationships, and a staggering 25 babies, the show has solidified its status as a catalyst for genuine connections. However, the current season has taken an unexpected turn, with farmers exiting the show midway, leaving viewers both puzzled and intrigued. And rumour has it, we’re about to lose another farmer.
Which Farmer Exits Farmer Wants a Wife?
Our suspected walk-out is Farmer Bert. Despite his blossoming connection with Caitlin, rumours have continued to circulate that the fourth-generation pineapple farmer from Wamuran, Queensland, might just walk away from it all solo. However, it’s believed Farmer Bert’s decision to depart the show stems from simmering tensions with the production team, rather than his romantic pursuits.
Apparently, the drama on Bert’s farm between the ladies was “nothing compared to the conflict behind the scenes with his producers”, a source told Yahoo Lifestyle.
“Farmer Bert was really sweet and it was sad to see him being treated like a prop. These two male producers had come from filming FBoy Island and obviously wanted conflict.”
Apparently, Bert wasn’t having any of it. “He was done being a puppet for the producers on his farm,” the insider revealed. “He actually felt uncomfortable with his producers and their suggestions on how to handle the remaining women.”
While this is all unconfirmed, it’s only only a matter of time before the truth comes out!
“Farmer Wants a Wife” airs Sunday at 7.00pm and Monday — Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
