Bricks, Builds & Brothers: Joss and Henry Return to “LEGO Masters” Season 5

Joss and Henry Lego Masters

The ongoing season of “LEGO Masters” is shaping up to be one of the toughest and most memorable yet, with impressive builds ranging from self-climbing contraptions to space objects that can actually be launched. The competition is fierce but each time is bringing their A-game.

The duos consist of previous participants who have returned for a chance to win the coveted title of “Grand Masters” and a cash prize of $100,000. Alongside them, we have the return of fan-favourite host, Hamish Blake and Ryan “Brickman” McNaught, as judge.

Adding fuel to the fire this year is the LEGO leaderboard, which determines which team receives the Immunity brick and avoids elimination. Brickman knows that this will set off alarm bells with some contestants and force them to take risks. The pressure is officially on. Needless to say, we’re anticipating a meltdown or two.

A number of previous winners are competing this year without their original partners in crime, and some fans are curious to find out how they were teamed up. Unfortunately, we don’t have the answer to this question yet, but we can share a few details about LEGO building brothers, Joss and Henry.

Taking home the victory last year, brothers, Joss and Henry are back — with slightly different hairdos — for another shot at victory. Fans witnessed a series of amazing builds from them in Season 4 and were wowed with their grand finale creation which took 28 hours to complete.

Growing up, this dynamic duo bonded over building LEGO and used their time together as a safe space to chat about their lives.

Henry can’t remember life without the mini bricks and has developed a strong technique for creating texture with bold colours. His style is adaptive, working well for the high pressure creations that “LEGO Masters” demands.

Weekly, LEGO store employee, Joss, spends roughly 20 hours building. Like his brother, he thrives on the fly, noting that his strengths are creating natural shapes and building creatures. Three of his builds are currently on display in Denmark’s LEGO Masterpiece Gallery.

Looking forward to more of Joss and Henry’s epic creations?
