MAFS Cheating Scandal: What Is Going On Between Carolina and Daniel?

If you thought MAFS couldn’t get any spicier, well I’m here to tell you that it’s time to grab a bottle of cold water, because the heat is about to reach new heights. 

If you’ve been watching MAFS this year then you may have noticed the “chemistry” between Queensland personal trainer Daniel Holmes and Carolina Santos. The two first crossed paths at the dinner party last week, and it’s safe to say, they were definitely vibing.

Well, it’s now looking like a cheating scandal is about to unfold on the reality show, because the pair were seen back in November together on a date — and they weren’t wearing their wedding rings. 

According to the Daily Mail, which also took some exclusive pap pics, the two were reportedly out for a date at Sydney’s Saga Bar for almost three hours and took part in a bit of PDA.

To top it off, Carolina told TV WEEK that she and Daniel were partnered with the wrong people, saying: “Daniel is a handsome guy… there was a bit of flirtation and chemistry that I didn’t have with my husband.”

And let’s not forget last night’s episode, when Carolina decided to ditch Dion to go the gym, where she met up with … you guessed it, Daniel. 

“I had her number, we had texted back and forth a little bit, and I asked her to come hang out, come for a gym session together,” Daniel told 9Entertainment.

“[My intention was] to explore a little bit further if what I thought was there is real, and basically just explore. Because we had only spent a couple of times together, so this might be my opportunity to gauge a bit more if I’m completely crazy or not.”

After everything transpired, Carolina was questioned about the entire ordeal on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa, which ended with her hanging up in the middle of the interview.

Fitzy kicked off the interview by asking if she was more interested in Daniel than Dion, and the answer was predictable.

“Look, Daniel is definitely good looking. He’s definitely more my type right? But yeah, that’s all I’m gonna say,” answered Carolina.

He then asked what she was doing to make the relationship work with Dion, and this is where things started going south.

“I think I’m just having too much wine with Daniel and too busy doing that,” she said.

“No, actually, I don’t know, he is trying. I struggle trusting men for things that I’ve gone through and I just stopped because we weren’t getting along and not just looks, a bit of a personality as well.”

Fitzy decided to push her buttons even further by not letting the subject go.

“There’s a little level of etiquette in there as well, Carolina, you put him seventh out of everyone… and he put you [as] number one and you accused him of lying and trying to make himself look better.

“Now Carolina. I know this is harsh, but you’ve got a 16-year-old son. Do you think that’s you’re setting a good example for him?”

And that’s when Carolina hung up the phone. Guess we’re just going to have to keep watching to see how everything plays out.
