MAFS’ Olivia Has Decided to Press Charges Against Domenica After the Glass Smashing Incident

We’re nearing the end of Married At First Sight but the drama is only just beginning. If you watch the show, you would be well aware of the feud between Olivia Frazer and Domenica Calarco. To recap, Olivia circulated a nude photo of Domenica among the rest of the cast after a heated argument that saw Domenica smash a glass on the table.

Despite Domenica issuing an apology for her behaviour, Olivia, who has admitted to holding grudges, decided to take revenge and frankly, the entire situation is just repulsive.

Viewers have turned on Olivia, who started out as being a fan-favourite after her true colours have come to light. It’s also important to note, that while it cannot be justified, Domenica smashed the glass because Olivia kept goading her for her “aggressive” voice.

Now, a MAFS insider has told the So Dramatic! podcast that the aspiring teacher attempted to press charges against Domenica. However, it didn’t happen directly after the incident, but when the altercation was shown on-screen.

“All footage… from during the retreat had to be given to police,” the insider said. “The entire cast [was] interviewed by police in relation to the incident.”

However, “after conducting a full and thorough investigation, the police dropped the charges as there was no evidence of any law being broken”.

The insider also revealed that the head of production offered for Olivia to go to the police the day after the argument but “she declined the offer”.

“Olivia was also offered counselling, support by producers, everything, but she declined it all,” they said. “Olivia went to the police before the glass smashing incident aired… Suddenly she is threatened by Dom and wants action?”

Speaking to Pedestrian, NSW Police issued a statement regarding the matter, saying: “On Thursday 24 February 2022, NSW Police received a report regarding an alleged incident that occurred at a property in Bargo in November 2021. Inquiries are underway and no further information is available.”

Married At First Sight airs at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
