The Real Love Boat: Will Chelsea Find Her Emotionally Mature King?

Network 10

If you love love, if you love dating shows on boats, if you love sexy singles and glam European destinations, then buckle up babes!

Where’s Bachie gone? No one knows. Instead, 10 is giving us a brand new dating show that’s essentially Love Island on a boat, and we’re not mad about it.

The Real Love Boat — inspired by the 1976 sitcom — takes place aboard the Princess Cruises ship, Regal Princess, and will see 20 Australian singles travel the seas, looking for love.

Destination dates and surprise singles will test the couples’ compatibility and chemistry. Like the beloved original scripted series, The Love Boat, the indispensable crew members will play pivotal roles in the matchmaking and navigation of the romantic (and sometimes turbulent) waters ahead.

Hosted by Darren McMullen, with Cruise Director Hannah Ferrier, Head of Entertainment Daniel Doody, and Princess Cruises’ Captain Paolo
Arrigo, our eligible Aussies will be guided through the murky waters of love as they explore Spain, Greece, France, Italy, Turkey and Montenegro.

NTB, right?

One of the babes embarking on this cruise for love, is 28-year-old Chelsea, a hairdressing salon-owner from Queensland.

Chelsea grew up in Adelaide but has been in Brisbane for the last
three years. She is quirky, fun, non-judgemental and is looking for her soul mate.

“I love spontaneous adventures, and have been struggling to someone who is likeminded, but also has emotional intelligence and depth,” Chelsea said in a press statement.

“I have a lot of offer a potential partner. I’m understanding, caring and giving. I’ll treat the right person like a king, but it must be vice-versa.”

And while she’s really open to meeting someone new, she does have a dealbreaker.

“I’m not into smokers. Each to their own, but I’m just not about it.

“I also don’t do toxic relationships or games. I’m a smart woman with crazy intuition and emotional intelligence — I will not tolerate any of that.”

Eeek, we love a queen that knows what she wants; but let’s hope that the men on The Real Love Boat aren’t about games and drama….

We hope you find your emotionally mature king, Chelsea!

The Real Love Boat airs weekly at 8.30pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, only on 10 and 10 Play. Miss an episode? Catch up on 10 Play on Demand.
