The Real Love Boat: Will Josh Find His Adventurous Dream Girl?

If you love love, if you love dating shows on boats, if you love sexy singles and glam European destinations, then buckle up babes!

Where’s Bachie gone? No one knows. Instead, 10 is giving us a brand new dating show that’s essentially Love Island on a boat, and we’re not mad about it.

The Real Love Boat — inspired by the 1976 sitcom — takes place aboard the Princess Cruises ship, Regal Princess, and will see 20 Australian singles travel the seas, looking for love.

Destination dates and surprise singles will test the couples’ compatibility and chemistry. Like the beloved original scripted series, The Love Boat, the indispensable crew members will play pivotal roles in the matchmaking and navigation of the romantic (and sometimes turbulent) waters ahead.

Arrigo, our eligible Aussies will be guided through the murky waters of love as they explore Spain, Greece, France, Italy, Turkey and Montenegro.

One of the babes embarking on this cruise for love, is 28-year-old Josh Hack, an adventure coordinator from New South Wales.

Given his occupation, it’s unsurprising that he’s looking for someone who is “super cute, playful, funny and loveable”.

He’s also attracted to women who are big foodies — and after stalking his Instagram — we get it. Josh loves a cheeky whiskey tasting, oysters by the beach and bubbles, so his potential partner hopefully can get on board with this A+ lifestyle.

Josh has a confident and daring personality, and his dream date would be something adventurous, anything with yummy food, or any art-like activity.

He does worry, however, that his high energy may make a potential partner run the other way.

“I know what I want and deserve in a relationship,” he says in a press statement, “and am still single because I’m very picky.”

“Here’s hoping that The Real Love Boat will help me find my perfect bold and fun match!”
