The 3 Things Taras Hrubyj-Piper Will Spend the Big Brother Prize Money On If He Wins

Taras Hrubyj-Piper big brother final three how to vote

It’s been a wild season of Big Brother Royalty Vs New Contenders, and now, it all comes down to this, our top three: Taras Hrubyj-Piper, Johnson Ashak, and Reggie Bird.

With just 24 hours to cast our votes, we’ve been asking the important questions, like “What will you spend the money on if we vote for you?”

For Taras, there are three main things.

Chatting to POPSUGAR Australia over the phone, Taras said that the first order of business would be to “bring a few of the housemates to Bali”.

“I promised them an all-expenses-paid trip, because they’re the reason I’m here,” Taras said.

Second on the list? Giving his mum a break.

“I’d help my mumma out, ‘coz she’s 70 years old and still working, doesn’t not have a house or anything like that to fall back on at all,” he said, “so I’ve gotta be a good son!”

Finally — and this is perhaps the most surprising one — he’d give money to Big Brother Australia Trevor Butler’s two sons, Maika and Creedance Butler.

“I said I’d give Trev’s kids a thousand bucks each,” Taras said. “I don’t know why I said that! They really got a good deal outta me, they’re not really offering anything back, but a deal’s a deal!”

As for his post-finale plans?

“I’m just gonna lie in bed and turn off Instagram for like, a week,” Taras said. “That’s it. I’m just gonna stare at the ceiling, a hundred percent.”

Taras said that while “it’s fun being the villain”, some of the hate he’s copped online for going against the OG housemates has been, quite simply, “f**ked”.

“I think it’s important for people to know that it is just a game and that we’re all just humans,” Taras said. “We all played the game and you only saw a small percentage of what went on in the house.”

Taras went on to say that although he wants the viewers to “have fun” watching it, and “to be angry and happy and excited and sad when things go your way or don’t go your way”, he wants everyone to remember that the show is being constructed in a way to specifically “bring these emotions up” in us as viewers.

“Just be careful what you say to people, just in general,” he said.

Noting that Aleisha Campbell and Johnson Ashak in particular have had a rough time online this season, he said:

“My hate started a lot later on in the season than Johnson and Aleisha’s, and it’s not even that much, and it doesn’t affect me that much — I don’t personalise it at all.

“The thing that makes me sad is not the hate, but that a lot of Australia, there’s a lot of really mean people!” he exclaimed. “And like, they’re fathers, and grandmothers and stuff! Most of them are older people, and I’m like ‘wow’.”

Voting for the winner of Big Brother Royalty Vs New Contenders is now open, and you can vote for Taras here.
